Butterfly
Jigs Land on Spanish Fly’s Website
Ever since airing on ESPN 2’s #1 rated fishing
show, Spanish Fly, there has been an incredible buzz
among anglers about the new Butterfly Jig by Shimano®.
“We have received tremendous feedback and interest
in these new lures,” says Spanish
Fly’s host, Capt. Jose Wejebe.
“In
order to meet the demand from viewers for more information,
we have just added a new video to our website. It describes
the jig in detail and how to most effectively use it.”

BoldWater Slamathon in Ponce Inlet
The BoldWater Slamathon in Ponce Inlet was held July
30, 2005 with great weather and 2-3’ seas. Most
boats caught fish and the weigh in was pretty intense
with teams moving up and down the leaderboard. Congratulations
to Team Blackhawk (pictured below)
who took the Slam Award honors with their combined
slam weight of 75.5lbs.

Has Done it AGAIN!
BoldWater's Marine Artist, Brian Sylvester
has released two new incredible original
paintings. Painted using acrylic and oil on masonite,
he shows us amazing underwater action. Both pieces uniquely

drama of bait escaping billfish predators.

Mount This! Fish Co. client, Rick Cruz sent us some
great pictures of his Marlin head mount that he purchased

creatively worked the Marlin mount into the picture.
The end result came out really cool and wanted to share
it with our readers. Thank you Rick for sending in!
