The Latest BoldWater Buzz
Last evening was the Captain’s party
for the first tournament of the new H.O.T. Zone 5 –
Pompano Beach. Jen, Troy and Pam from the H.O.T. Fishing Circuit
were there to sign up new south Florida members. The excitement
and buzz about the H.O.T. Circuit being in South Florida has
been huge and we look forward to adding South Florida anglers
to the competition. Good luck anglers!
Congrats
to BoldWater’s Cory Redwine for her Second Place Cobia
in the recent FSFA tournament out of Port Canaveral. Making
the win extra special was that it was also her birthday weekend.
Congrats and Happy Birthday Cory!

Congrats
to our sleep-deprived, super creative BoldWater graphic and
web designer, Paul Long and his lovely gal Brooke. They are
the proud new parents of a (tattooless) bouncing baby boy
named Uriah who tipped the scales at a healthy 9lbs. Congrats
Paul and Brooke!

Here’s local Merritt Islander, Amy Ragland, celebrating
her very first tripletail. Amy caught this 12.8 pounder out
by the buoy line out of Port Canaveral with new husband, Dwayne,
on 8lb test. Great job Amy and congrats to the newlyweds!

What’s
better than one nice red snapper? Why of course…two
of ‘em! Good job to Corey Kramer of Cape Canaveral.
His fish snagged him a First Place Snapper win in the FSFA
tournament out of Port Canaveral last week. To see all the
pictures and get the scoop, visit their post on our BoldWater
Forum’s Worldwide Fishing Reports.

The
Sylvester Touch
BoldWater really appreciates the hard work and talent of one
of our Stuart-based team members, Brian Sylvester. Both client
designs below feature some of Brian's artwork. Thanks B
for all your great designs, we appreciate it! BoldWater's
founder Derek Redwine says, "It's incredible to have
my biggest creative influence in marine art on our team
and making our customers extremely happy! We are really stoked
to have him onboard."
That’s
the Ticket
Here’s a large format printing job and web design we
did for local Yellowfin Tuna fishing “Other Side”
pioneer, Capt. Ed Dwyer, for his new 60’ custom Paul
Spencer Yacht. The new Ticket is located behind Rusty’s
Seafood & Oyster Bar in Port Canaveral. We also just redesigned
their new website. Check it out at www.ticketfishing.com!
Thanks Candy and Ed, we love you guys!!!
Team Strategix Boat Lettering
Here’s the boat lettering we just completed for client,
Tom Biddix of Team Strategix. Tom is a H.O.T. Fishing Circuit
Member and is sponsored by Hydra-Sport, Boat Tree and Dockside
Marine. Thanks Tom, we appreciate your business!

Annual Summer Slam 2005 - Port Canaveral
Tournament Date Update
Due to the “Small Craft Advisory" the Rusty's Summer
Slam Tournament is postponed until Saturday, July 9, 2005.
The Captain's Party will still be held tonight at Rusty’s
from 6-8pm for registration and continue with registration
until Friday, July 8, 2005.
Rusty’s Summer Slam Rules
Update
We have been notified to announce the following rule update
for the upcoming tournament:
Previously anglers had to catch six species to qualify for
the Slam Award. The tournament committee has changed that
rule to the team with the MOST SPECIES wins. If any teams
tie with the highest amount of species, then the team with
the highest aggregate weight wins.
Any question or for more information call Frank or Tonya at
783-2033.
