Guy Harvey CRUSHES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
10/1-10/4 OK folks, four days, and I have to say it again…this place is unreal!!! Our goal for Guy was to get two shows out of his trip…one on the completion of Dr. John Graves PSAT white marlin study and another on the Venezuelan sword fishery. Here’s the blow by blow: day 1 – all 6 PSAT (pop-up satellite tags) were placed in white marlin, 4 in fish caught on J hooks and 2 in fish caught on circle hooks. Plus we caught a nice blue. Day 2 –5 whites in the morning and 2 sword bites in the afternoon, one produced a nice 150 lb swordie which Guy got some great footage of. Day 3 – slow sword fishing…only one bite. Day 4 – another sword day, which produced a 200+ sword that we tagged and released; also some amazing underwater footage (some of the only underwater sword footage ever!!!!) Guy, Kent Olberg and Dr. Graves were stoked…Ryan, Elias and I were stoked…everyone at the dock that helped with the filming, chase boats and good times were stoked!!!! What an experience. Be sure to keep checking the site for the dates of Guys 2 shows he shot here last year. They will air in January. Thanks fellas!!!
